How much do you know about YJV cables?

YJV cable is the most commonly used type of power cable, commonly known as cross-linked polyethylene insulated polyvinyl chloride sheathed power cable. Among them, YJ represents cross-linked polyethylene insulation, and V represents polyvinyl chloride sheath.

YJV cables consist of conductors, polyethylene insulators, fillers, and polyvinyl chloride sheaths from the inside out. Among them, fillers are mostly materials such as nylon and plastic, mainly used to reduce internal vibration and impact of cables, protect conductors and insulation layers, and also improve the insulation and heat resistance of cables. Do you know the usage characteristics of YJV cables? Firstly, the ambient temperature for cable laying should not be lower than 0 ℃, and the long-term maximum working temperature of the conductor should not exceed 90 ℃; Secondly, the maximum allowable short-circuit temperature for cable conductors is 250 ℃.

YJV cables are suitable for transmission and distribution systems with a rated voltage of 0.6/1Kv and below, and are laid indoors and outdoors. Can withstand certain tensile forces, but cannot withstand pressure and mechanical external forces.
