Do you know the difference between armored cables YJV22 and YJV32?
Armored cable refers to a solid assembly made of conductors of different materials installed in a metal sheath with insulating materials. Armored cables include armored thermocouples, armored thermal resistors, armored heaters and armored leads. They are mainly used for temperature measurement, signal transmission and special heating in chemical industry, metallurgy, machinery manufacturing, power generation and scientific experiments. The largest amount is armored thermocouples. Armor is divided into steel strip armor (22, 23), fine steel wire armor (32, 33) and thick steel wire armor (42, 43).
We usually use 22, 23 and 32, 33 models. Today, I will briefly introduce the differences between YJV22, YJV32, YJV23 and YJV33 cables. The two digits 22, 23, 32 and 33 after YJV represent the armor layer and sheath layer respectively.
YJV22 cable is a copper core cross-linked polyethylene insulated steel belt armored PVC sheathed power cable; YJV32 cable is a copper core cross-linked polyethylene insulated fine steel wire armored PVC sheathed power cable; YJV23 cable is a copper core cross-linked polyethylene insulated steel belt armored polyethylene sheathed power cable. YJV33 cable is a copper core cross-linked polyethylene insulated fine steel wire armored polyethylene sheathed power cable.
Advantages of YJV22/YJV23 cable: an additional layer of steel belt is added to the sheath layer, which has better pressure resistance and effectively prevents accidental damage and rodent bites. Suitable for direct burial and pipe laying. The conductor allows a long-term working temperature of 900℃, and the conductor allows a short-circuit temperature of 2500℃ (the longest duration does not exceed 5S)
Advantages of YJV32/YJV33 cable: an additional layer of steel wire is added to the sheath layer, which has better tensile resistance and effectively prevents damage from falling objects and rodent bites. Suitable for overhead laying and vertical laying. The allowable long-term operating temperature of the conductor is: 900℃, and the allowable short-circuit temperature of the conductor is: 2500℃ (the longest duration does not exceed 5S).
Since the steel wire armored cable is more complicated in terms of technology, its price is also higher than that of steel belt armored cable. There are many cable models, and different letters represent different meanings. When purchasing, you should confirm the model specifications and find a professional cable manufacturer to avoid unnecessary losses due to the wrong model. The armored cables produced by Foshan Yuejiaxin Wire and Cable Co., Ltd. are all made of high-quality oxygen-free copper, with national standard production technology and quality assurance, so you can rest assured to purchase.
