BTLY is composed of six parts: twisted copper conductor, mineral insulation layer, aluminum sheath, isolation layer, fire-resistant layer and halogen-free low-smoke outer sheath. The B in BTLY stands for wiring installation cable, T stands for copper conductor, L stands for metal corrugated aluminum sheath, and Y stands for the outer sheath of the cable (polyolefin).
BTLY usually uses high-purity copper conductors with good conductivity and corrosion resistance.
